Do I Have To Run The Whole Thing?
No. Run the full course, run half, join for a few stops, or meet everyone at the finish and claim emotional support status. The course is a route, not a contract.

Have fun. That is it. Not pace, not distance, not proving anything to anyone. If people are laughing, nobody is lost, and everyone gets home with a story, the event worked.
Use the map if you want the full stupid beauty of it. Most bars are closer together in a straight line, but the course is laid out to get close to 2.62 miles between stops.
That said, you do you. Want to detour and see something cool? Do it. Legs tired and you just want the next bar? Also cool. Ditch the map, get to the next stop, and check the back of your buddy's shirt if you forget which bar comes next.
Yes. Load the route before you start, then let your watch do the nagging while you focus on not taking a scenic detour through regret.
Instructions: Garmin, Apple Watch, Strava.

No. This is not a race, not sanctioned, not timed, not staffed, and not affiliated with the Boston Athletic Association or any participating bars. You are responsible for yourself.
Yes. Each course page has its own shirt section. The shirt will not improve your pacing, but it does make the questionable decision easier to explain later.
